Macashca Hill

A lovely hill walk close to Huaraz. Around 5 to 6 hours on wide grassy ridges with fantastic views of the Cordillera Blanca peaks, Huascaran and Huaraz.

We drive for a 45 minutes to the village of Macashca and then we start walking up hill for about an hour then we walk on the ridge of the hill up to the pass. From the pass we have a great view of the Churup lake, Ranrapalca, cashan, and many other huge peaks of the Cordillera blanca. and then we walk all the way down to Huaraz
